Description of Mobile Service Group (MSG)

 Mader supply dedicated MSG response vehicles and manage the delivery of 32 hours of combined service per day, 7 days a week between 0700 hours and 0000 hours including a Stand-by Call Out Service between 0000 & 0600am for 52 weeks per year.

Functions of MSG

The MSG can provide the following maintenance and support services:

  • Scheduled servicing of client Fleet vehicles on client premises, Support Centres and other approved locations.
  • Compliance to the Fleet prescribed scheduled service program and OEM recommendations
  • Stretcher maintenance program
  • Attendance to breakdowns
  • Unscheduled maintenance faults that can be rectified in the field
  • Preventative maintenance and quality assurance inspections
  • Inspection/audit of other maintenance providers including post accident repair inspections
  • On site repairs to vehicle support systems aligned to equipment
  • Assisting (if required) in disbursement of designated equipment and vehicle relocation
  • Attendance at MVA’s to secure vehicle and equipment at the scene
  • Implementing and undertaking designated modification programs including training of staff

Qualifications of MSG Staff

All MSG staff are fully qualified automotive mechanics fully inducted and trained in all aspects of service delivery.

Equipment

MSG response vehicles are modern and have latest standards of:

  • Parts and consumables
  • Tools and equipment
  • Safety equipment and lighting

Base Vehicles

Each MSG service vehicle is of a uniform version that presents a highly professional service.

Each MSG Vehicle Must:

  • Be capable of carrying the compliment of tools, parts and equipment
  • Provide good OH&S presence to access tools, parts and equipment
  • Provide roadside warning systems for breakdowns that may be attended on public roads
  • Have external lighting to assist in the event of a breakdown that may be attended on public roads at all times of the day and night

Reports

Full reports are provide monthly or as required that can include but not limited to the examples below:

  • Daily shift and task control sheets
  • Service sheets where service is performed
  • Electrical health certificates where batteries are replaced
  • Brake safety reports where replacement of brakes have been performed
