Latest News Mader International Pty Ltd is one of the largest ambulance and special vehicle manufacturers in the Asia-Pacific region. The company has its head office and major manufacturing facility in Penguin, Tasmania, and a subsidiary facility in Somerton, Victoria. The company manufactures a diverse range of ambulances and unique builds on just about any base vehicle. Mader produces hundreds of vehicles per annum for both domestic and export markets and has the capability to carry out all work “in-house”, with the exception of some specialised engineering services. Mader also supplies medical and rescue equipment and ambulance consultancy services. Mader is an authorised agent for the installation and maintenance of Ricon Chairlifters and Unwin Tracking Devices. These products provide transport solutions for people with disabilities. In early 2013 Mader was required to fit out an unmarked first response vehicle based on a Holden Calais. The vehicle has been modified to suit the requirements established by Ambulance Victoria. The second vehicle was completed early 2014 and is an updated Holden VF Calais Sedan model. Read more...
