Mader International Pty Ltd is one of the largest ambulance and special vehicle manufacturers in the Asia-Pacific region. The company has its head office and major manufacturing facility in Penguin, Tasmania, and a subsidiary facility in Somerton, Victoria.

The company manufactures a diverse range of ambulances and unique builds on just about any base vehicle. Mader produces hundreds of vehicles per annum for both domestic and export markets and has the capability to carry out all work “in-house”, with the exception of some specialised engineering services. Mader also supplies medical and rescue equipment and ambulance consultancy services.

Mader is an authorised agent for the installation and maintenance of Ricon Chairlifters and Unwin Tracking Devices. These products provide transport solutions for people with disabilities.

The company also has the ability to carry out vehicle inspections and component certification to ADR specifications and standards.

Royal Flying Doctor Service - South Australia

Royal Flying Doctor Service in South Australia contracted Mader International to build three Ambulances based on the 4WD Toyota Troopcarrier and these were delivered successfully through July 2016.
