Patient Transport - Queensland |
Mader were successful in securing a long term contract with Queensland Ambulance Service for the manufacture of non-acute patient transport vehicles. These vehicles are based on the long wheel base, high roof Sprinter vans, which required engineering to upgrade the gross vehicle mass. The vehicles are capable of transporting two stretcher patients, five sitting patients, two attendants to operate the vehicle and care for patients, and all required medical and handling equipment. Pictured is the tenth unit prepared for delivery, with a further six units scheduled and on target for delivery by mid June 2013. This contract to date has been a great success through a strong partnership between all parties.

First Aid Vehicle - Victoria |
Mader has produced several single stretcher First Aid vehicles for St John Ambulance Victoria recently, with the ability to also seat four people in the rear of the vehicle. The vehicles are based on Toyota's Hi Ace van and were modified according to requirements, including a side awning feature. By early 2013 twenty one units will be completed.

Mader recently completed the conversion of a Holden Captiva into a clinic transport vehicle for Ambulance Victoria. The vehicle was modified to suit all requirements and was delivered in early 2013. It is the first of a number of vehicles which will be going on the road over the next couple of months.

Mader was recently required by Esso Australia to produce a rescue vehicle based on a Sprinter van. The vehicle was modified to suit requirements and will be based in Victoria.

Mader has completed a single stretcher primary response vehicle based on Toyota's 200 series Land Cruiser for Western Australia's Hostile Environment Services. The vehicle will service mine operations on sites in various locations in Western Australia.

In late 2012 Mader provided Ambulance Victoria with clinic transport vehicles based on Sprinter vans. The builds have been fitted with a wheelchair hoist option to enable disability access and seating.

Mader completed a contract of patient transport vehicles for Tasmania's Department of Health Services in 2011. Some of these vehicles include a wheelchair lift and seating for disabled access and transport.

4X4 Primary Response - Australian Defence Force |
In 2011 Mader completed a contract of single stretcher ambulances for the Australian Defence Force, based on the Toyota 4x4 Troop Carrier. These vehicles are now distributed at army and navy bases throughout Western Australia, the Northern Territory and New South Wales.

Mader was required in 2012 by Redline Coaches to modify public buses. The modifications involved the supply and installation of equipment, including wheelchair lifters, to allow disability access and seating.

In 2012 Mader was required to supply the Central Australian Oral Health Service (a division of the Northern Territory's Department of Health) with a fully fitted mobile dental service vehicle. This vehicle will service regional communities throughout the Northern Territory.

In early 2012 Mader was required to supply a promotional volunteer recruitment vehicle for the Tasmanian Ambulance Service. This vehicle was modified to include a fully functional ambulance fit out and electronic media display.

Mader supplied BHP's Olympic Dam in 2012 with a primary single stretcher ambulance based on the AWD Sprinter van to service both on and off site operations. The requirements of this vehicle included roll over protection, which had to be supplied and installed and considered during the fit out process.
